Description
IMDSL begins its clinical training journey with a focused 4-day intensive program for General Surgeons and Proctologists in Laser Proctology. This program is designed to go beyond theory and address real procedural challenges in treating hemorrhoids, fissures, fistula, and pilonidal sinus using advanced laser technology.
Day 1: Clinical Foundations & Case Selection
The program starts with building a strong clinical understanding of proctological conditions, patient evaluation, and accurate case selection. The focus is on identifying suitable cases for laser procedures and avoiding common errors in diagnosis and planning.
Day 2: Laser Technology & Procedural Protocols
Participants gain in-depth knowledge of laser systems, correct settings, safety measures, and standardized step-by-step protocols. Emphasis is placed on choosing the right technique for each condition.
Day 3: Hands-on Training & Live Demonstrations
A highly practical day involving live case demonstrations, supervised hands-on exposure, and procedural simulations. Surgeons learn intra-operative decision-making and how to manage real-time clinical scenarios with precision.
Day 4: Outcome Optimization & Practice Integration
The final day focuses on improving surgical outcomes—reducing tissue trauma, blood loss, post-operative pain, and recovery time. It also covers workflow efficiency and how to seamlessly integrate laser procedures into daily practice.
