Laser Dentistry Course

IMDSL introduces a focused 3-day intensive training program in Laser Dentistry, designed for dental practitioners who want to integrate advanced laser technology into everyday clinical practice. This program goes beyond theoretical concepts and addresses real clinical challenges across soft tissue and selected hard tissue procedures using dental lasers.

Day 1: Fundamentals & Case Selection
The program begins with a strong foundation in laser dentistry—understanding laser physics, tissue interaction, safety protocols, and clinical indications. Emphasis is placed on accurate diagnosis, case selection, and identifying procedures where lasers deliver clear advantages.

Day 2: Laser Protocols & Hands-on Training
Participants gain in-depth knowledge of laser settings, procedural techniques, and step-by-step clinical protocols for procedures such as gingivectomy, frenectomy, depigmentation, and periodontal therapy. This day focuses on hands-on exposure, live demonstrations, and building confidence in using lasers safely and effectively.

Day 3: Clinical Application & Practice Integration
The final day emphasizes real-world application—managing intra-operative decisions, improving patient comfort, and achieving predictable outcomes. Participants also learn how to reduce bleeding, post-operative pain, and healing time while enhancing workflow efficiency and integrating laser dentistry seamlessly into routine practice.
